COUNTY OF HAWAII� STATE OF HAWAII BILL NO. 9, 6] ORDINANCE NO. 98 88 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (1995 EDITION), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL1 OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1, section 24-260, schedule 8 (45 mile per hour limit), subsection (e) Kohala, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is amended by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: O Waikoloa Road, from a point 1.1 miles mauka of Auwaiakeakua Gulch 'Bridge and extending 1.7 miles in the mauka direction. SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1, section 24-263, schedule 11 (55 mile per hour limit), subsection (e) Kohala, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is amended by adding the following to the appropriately numbered and to read as follows: () Waikoloa Road. from a point 2.8 miles mauka of Auwaiakeakua Gulch Bridge to Route 190 SECTION 3. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the underscoring need not be included. . SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
