With optimism <br /> about our future, any difficulties may be overcome by our communities working together. <br /> In this spirit, the Nippon Club would like to contribute $1,000 to the recovery efforts <br /> undergoing on your island. <br /> Nippon Club was established in 1973 to promote understanding between Japan and <br /> Hawaii, and to contribute towards business development opportunities with local partners <br /> in Hawaii. Our club is also actively involved as a volunteer service organization in the <br /> annual Aloha United Way fundraising campaign. Members are primarily Japanese <br /> Hawaii -based corporations and Japanese nationals. Honorary members are the Counsel <br /> General of Japan and Deputy Counsel General of Japan. <br /> After the recovery, we will all emerge as viable and stronger communities.
