COUNTY OF HAWAII Mr STATE OF HAWAII BILL NO. 261 ORDINANCE NO. 98 84 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (1995 EDITION), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-268, schedule 16 (Turn right anytime with caution), subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is amended by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: Pohakulani Street at its intersection with Ainaola Drive for vehicles traveling in the Puna direction. SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-268, schedule 16 (Turn right anytime with caution), subsection (g) Puna, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is amended by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: Kahakai Boulevard at its intersection with Punawai Street for vehicles traveling in the mauka direction. SECTION 3. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the underscoring need not be included. SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
