No. 106-11 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Kona, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 1:35 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 106-11, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 106-11, by Finance Director Nancy Crawford via Communication No. 269, dated <br /> June 22, 2011, authorizes the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the State of Hawaii <br /> Department of Health.. <br /> The State Department of Health, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division, is providing federally <br /> derived funds for the purpose of supporting the Police's efforts to conduct enforcement <br /> operations of minors purchasing alcohol. The Hawai`i Police Department will schedule and <br /> supervise a yearly compliance check of approximately one hundred thirty one (131) retail stores <br /> over a nine month period.
