Hawai‘i County Council-24 August 3, 2011 <br /> <br />ORDER OF RESOLUTIONS <br /> <br /> <br />Res. 99-11: DETERMINATION TO PROCEED TO CREATE AND DEFINE A WATER <br />SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT FOR THE KONA OCEAN VIEW <br />PROPERTIES SUBDIVISION <br />In accordance with the provisions of the Hawai‘i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as <br />amended) Sections 12-17 and 12-18, the Council hereby determines to proceed with the <br />improvements proposed in Council Resolution 74-11 (and further described in the <br />Manager’s Report), and finds that the establishment of the proposed Improvement <br />District will be in the public interest providing significant benefits to the health, safety, <br />and welfare of the residents in the Kona Ocean View Properties Subdivision. <br /> <br /> Re: Comm. 259 <br /> Intr. by: Mr. Pilago <br /> Approve: PWPRC-25 <br /> <br />ADOPTED: <br />AYES: Council Members Blas, Ford, Hoffmann, Ikeda, Onishi, <br /> Pilago, Smart, Yoshimoto, and Chair Yagong – 9. <br />NOES: None. <br />ABSENT: None. <br />EXCUSED: None. <br /> <br /> <br />Res. 100-11: AUTHORIZES THE ACCEPTANCE OF A MONETARY DONATION OF $1,000 TO <br />THE HAWAI‘I FIRE DEPARTMENT TO BE USED TO PROVIDE TRAINING, AND <br />TO PURCHASE SUPPLIES AND OTHER NEEDED ITEMS FOR THE HAWAI‘I FIRE <br />DEPARTMENT’S CANINE TEAM <br />Donated by State Farm Insurance Companies, the funds would be used to support the <br />Fire Prevention Division and its arson canine team of Fire Captain Robert R. K.
