WHEREAS, the transient accommodations tax amount received by the County of <br />Hawai`i in fiscal year 2011 prior to the implementation of the ceiling was $19,153,617; now, <br />therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that it <br />approves for inclusion in the 2012 Hawai`i State Association of Counties' legislative package <br />requesting the Legislature of the State of Hawai`i to remove the ceiling on the counties' share of <br />the transient accommodations tax. <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawai`i is directed to <br />transmit copies of this Resolution to the Honorable Mayor William P.
