devices which are not physically attached to, or physically mounted on, such <br />systems. <br />(8) The construction, alteration or repair of electrical devices commonly used in <br />the home such as [television sets, radios, tape recorders, movie projectors and <br />the like.] portable appliances as defined in section 9 -5. <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 9, article 1, section 9 -5 of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 <br />Edition, as amended) is amended by amending the following definition to read as follows: <br />[ "Assistant "] "Authority Having Jurisdiction or AHJ" means the authorized representatives <br />of the administrative authority. <br />SECTION 3. The following sections of chapter 9, Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 <br />Edition, as amended) are hereby amended by replacing every reference to "administrative <br />authority" with "authority having jurisdiction ": <br />Section 9 -5; <br />Section 9 -7; <br />Section 9 -8; <br />Section 9 -9; <br />Section 9 -11; <br />Section 9 -18; <br />Section 9 -19; <br />Section 9 -26; <br />Section 9 -27; <br />Section 9 -30; <br />Section 9 -31; <br />Section 9 -32; <br />Section 9 -33; <br />Section 9 -34; <br />Section 9 -35; <br />Section 9 -36; <br />Section 9 -38; and <br />Section 9 -41. <br />2 <br />
