No. 145-11 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> West Hawaii Civic Center <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawaii <br /> TIME: 11:07 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 145-11, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 145-11, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 95,by Finance Director Nancy <br /> Crawford via Communication No. 350, dated September 7, 2011, authorizes the acceptance of a <br /> monetary donation of$500 from the Kona Crime Prevention Committee to the Hawaii Police <br /> Department to help cover the costs to bring a canine trainer to Hilo to work with a dog and <br /> handler. <br /> There was no discussion on this measure. <br /> Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter the Council, on behalf of the <br /> County, may accept gifts or donations of money. <br /> A letter of appreciation and a copy of this resolution will be sent to the Kona Crime Prevention <br /> Committee at P.O.
