Relations, <br />Workforce Development Division <br />Hawai`i County Office of Aging <br />$84,600.00 <br />$9,999.00 <br />#3308.58 <br />Grant Period (Commencement & Completion): May 21, 2010 - July 31, 2011 <br />Goals: Hawai`i's communities have the necessary economic, workforce, and <br />physical capacity for an aging society. <br />Objectives: These Special Funds enabled STEP to continue serving the nine (9) <br />seniors added to STEP in 2009 under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 <br />(ARRA) (Public Law 111 -05). Without these Special Funds, the nine (9) seniors who were <br />participating in STEP under ARRA would have been terminated in May 2010. <br />Outcomes or Results: When these special funds were exhausted, all 9 participants were absorbed <br />into the regular STEP to continute in the program. <br />/vrb <br />Hawai 'i County is an equal opportunity provider and employer. <br />Comm.
