COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />BILL NO. <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />114 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 3 OF THE HAWAI`1 <br />COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO BUS STOPS AND <br />PUBLIC ROAD TAXI STANDS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br />SECTION 1. The subject bus stop primarily serves the Connections Public Charter <br />School. The purpose of this measure is to accommodate the revised release time of the Connections <br />Public Charter School. <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 3, Section 24 -275, Schedule 23. Bus stop <br />locations, subsection (c), South Hilo, Hawai'i County Code 1983 (2005 edition, as amended), is amended <br />to read as follows: <br />(c) South Hilo <br />(1) Banyan Drive, both sides, beginning from the Naniloa Hotel driveway and <br />extending in the mauka direction for a distance of one hundred thirty feet from <br />6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. <br />(2) Fronting the Hilo Bus Terminal Building at Mo`oheau Park for a distance of <br />eighty feet. <br />(3) Hualalai Street, Hamakua side, beginning from a point three hundred twenty - <br />seven feet mauka of Kino`ole Street and extending eighty feet in the mauka <br />direction. <br />(4) Hualalai Street, Puna side, beginning at a point thirty feet makai of Kapi`olani <br />Street and extending sixty feet in the makai direction between the hours of 2:30 <br />p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on school days only. <br />(5) Kamehameha Avenue, west side, beginning from a point sixty feet south of <br />Kalakaua Street and extending fifty feet in the southerly direction. from [2,001 <br />12:30 p.m. to [3:00] 2:30 p.m., on school days. <br />(6) Kapi`olani Street, east side. beginning from a point five feet north of the Church <br />of Holy Apostles driveway and extending in the northern direction for a distance <br />of forty feet. <br />(7) Kapi`olani Street, west side, beginning from a point eighty -eight feet southeast of <br />the Hamakua entrance driveway of the University of Hawai`1 and extending in die <br />
