No. 379/Bill No. 109 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 109, reports as follows: <br />Bill 109, transmitted jointly with Resolution 163 -11, by Finance Director Nancy Crawford via <br />Communication No. 378, dated September 22, 2011, amends Ordinance No. 11 -59, as amended, <br />the Operating Budget, ending June 30, 2012. The amendment is as follows: <br />From: <br />085.3305.109 State Grants — Used Oil Collection/Disposal Solid Waste $15,000 <br />To: <br />085.601.5607.30 Used Oil Collection/Disposal Solid Waste $15,000 <br />The State of Hawaii Department of Health is providing $15,000 for the purpose of supporting <br />the Department of Environmental Management's "Household Do- It- Yourselfer" program to <br />collect and dispose of used motor oil. <br />The bill amends the Operating Budget by appropriating this $15,000 Used Oil <br />Collection/Disposal grant. <br />Pursuant to Section 46 -7, Hawaii Revised Statutes, County Departments must obtain the consent <br />of the Council to enter into agreements with the federal or state governments respecting action to <br />be taken pursuant to any of the powers granted by law to furnish, expend and receive any funds <br />or other assistance in connection with projects being or to be undertaken pursuant to those <br />powers. <br />There was no discussion on this measure. <br />FC Report No. 130 <br />
