No. 411/Bill No. 120 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 120, reports as follows: <br />Bill 120, transmitted jointly with Resolution 176 -11, by Finance Director Nancy Crawford via <br />Communication No. 411, dated October 5, 2011, amends Ordinance No. 11 -59, as amended, the <br />Operating Budget, ending June 30, 2012. The amendment is as follows: <br />From: <br />010.3303.77 Federal Grants — Justice Assistance Grant General $105,029 <br />To: <br />010.201.5216.31 Justice Assistance Grant General $105,029 <br />The bill amends the Operating Budget by appropriating this $ 105,029 Justice Assistance grant. <br />The U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance is <br />providing federal funds of $105,029 for the purpose of supporting the Hawai `i County Police <br />Department's Justice Assistance Grant Recovery Program. <br />Pursuant to Section 46 -7, Hawai`i Revised Statutes, County Departments must obtain the consent <br />of the Council to enter into agreements with the federal or state governments respecting action to <br />be taken pursuant to any of the powers granted by law to furnish, expend and receive any funds <br />or other assistance in connection with projects being or to be undertaken pursuant to those <br />powers. <br />FC Report No. 140 <br />
