No. 434 <br />PLACE: Council Chambers <br />Hilo, Hawai`i <br />TIME: 11:42 a.m. <br />Council Chair and Members <br />Hawai`i County Council <br />Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br />Your Committee on Economic Development and Mass Transit, to which was referred <br />Communication No. 434, reports as follows: <br />Communication No. 434, transmitted by Mayor William P. Kenoi, dated October 17, 2011, <br />nominates Mr. Jon Olson to serve on the County of Hawai`i Transportation Commission. <br />A 33 year resident of Hawai`i, Mr. Jon Olson has been retired since 2000. He is the Vice <br />Commander of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 3 -19 and a member of the Puna Friends <br />of the Park, Pahoa Main Street, and the Puna Traffic Safety Council. He states that he is a <br />Democrat.
