No. 440/Bill No. 131 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 131, reports as follows: <br />Bill 131, transmitted jointly with Resolution 185 -11, by Finance Director Nancy Crawford via <br />Communication No. 440 dated October 19, 2011, amends Ordinance No. 11 -59, as amended, the <br />Operating Budget, ending June 30, 2012. The amendment is as follows: <br />From: <br />010.3308.81 Federal Grants — Working Towards <br />Crime Lab Accreditation General $ 13,300 <br />To: <br />010.201.5216.43 Working Towards Crime Lab <br />Accreditation Grant <br />General $ 13,300 <br />The bill amends the Operating Budget by appropriating $13,300 Working Towards Crime Lab <br />Accreditation grant. <br />Pursuant to Section 46 -7, Hawaii Revised Statutes, County Departments must obtain the consent <br />of the Council to enter into agreements with the federal or state governments respecting action to <br />be taken pursuant to any of the powers granted by law to furnish, expend and receive any funds <br />or other assistance in connection with projects being or to be undertaken pursuant to those <br />powers. <br />Police Department Crime Lab representative Kathy Pung appeared before Your Committee. <br />FC Report No. 156 <br />
