Rosario <br />Fire Chief <br />Renwick J. Victorino <br />Deputy Fire Chief <br />Please see proposed amendments to Bill No. 139, illustrated below in Ramseyer format. Rationale for <br />proposed amendments, where provided, is bolded and italicized at the end of each section. Attached <br />please find Bill No. 139 with these amendments incorporated therein. <br />1. Section 26 -1, as provided in Bill No. 139, is amended to read: <br />"Section 26 -1. Adoption of the Hawaii State Fire Code. <br />[The State of Hawai`i on January 1, 2010 pursuant to section §132 3 of the Hawai`i <br />Revised Statutes, incorporated the 2006 National Fire Code, NFPA 1 Uniform <br />] <br />The Hawai`i State fire code, as adopted by the Hawai`i State fire council on January 1, <br />2010, pursuant to section 132 -3, Hawai`i Revised Statutes, which incorporated the 2006 <br />National Fire Code, NFPA 1 Uniform Fire Code, is by reference incorporated herein and <br />made a part hereof and is hereby adopted by reference, subject to the amendments in <br />this chapter." <br />2. Section 26 -5, as provided in Bill No. 139, is amended to read: <br />"Section 26 -5. Plans and specifications. <br />1.7.11 is amended to read: <br />Comm. No. T <br />Ref. To: ; M(-t <br />Ref.
