BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br />This donation was given in appreciation of our Fire Prevention division and to support Fire Prevention <br />Week. These funds are to help pay for materials and supplies used for Fire Prevention Week. <br />Prevention is responsible for the review of building plans and development project proposals, in addition to <br />the enforcement of fire codes and regulations. Personnel conduct site and building inspections; public <br />education, fire safety, and prevention training; and post fire incident investigations. Annually Fire <br />Prevention Week in October is an opportunity to promote fire safety and fire prevention - printed materials <br />and other supplies are needed for this.
