No. 513/13ill 161 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 161, reports as follows: <br />Bill 161, transmitted jointly with Resolution 206-12 by Finance Director Nancy Crawford via <br />Communication No. 513, dated December 16, 2011, amends Ordinance No. 11-59, as amended, <br />the Operating Budget for the County of Hawaii for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2012. The <br />amendment is as follows: <br />From: <br />010.3607.00 Contribution from Private Source General $1,000 <br />To: <br />010.201.5212.02 Kona Police - OCE General $1,000 <br />The bill amends the Operating Budget by appropriating the funds into the Hawaii Police <br />Department Kona Police Division's "Other Current Expenses" (OCE) account. <br />Pursuant to Section 46-7, Hawaii Revised Statutes, County departments must obtain the consent <br />of the Council to enter into agreements with the Federal or State governments respecting action <br />to be taken pursuant to any powers granted by law to furnish, expend, and receive any funds or <br />other assistance in connection with projects being or to be undertaken pursuant to those powers. <br />Mr. Yagong resumed chairmanship of the Finance Committee. <br />Your Committee would like to thank Target for their generous donation. <br />FC Report No. 180 <br />
