No. 508 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 1:00 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred <br /> Communication No. 508, reports as follows: <br /> Communication No. 508, transmitted by Mayor William P. Kenoi, dated December 12, 2011, <br /> requests the favorable nomination of Caleb Churchill (VFW) to the Hawai`i County Veterans <br /> Advisory Committee. From 2002 to 2006, he worked as a tool grinder at Dril -Quip. <br /> Mr. Churchill is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3875. He states that he is not <br /> affiliated with any political party. <br /> Mr. Churchill is presently serving in this position which expired on December 31, 2011. If he is <br /> confirmed, he will serve a new full term to expire on December 31, 2016. <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and <br /> intent of Communication No. 508, and recommends confirmation of the appointment of <br /> Mr. Churchill to the Veterans Advisory Committee.
