No. 509 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 1:00 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred <br /> Communication No. 509, reports as follows: <br /> Communication No. 509 transmitted by Mayor William P. Kenoi, dated December 12, 2011, <br /> requests the favorable nomination of Minoru Hanato to the Hawaii County Veterans Advisory <br /> Committee. Mr. Hanato is a lifelong resident of Hawai`i. He states that he is not affiliated with <br /> any political party. <br /> Mr. Hanato is presently serving in this position which expired on December 31, 2011. <br /> If he is confirmed, he will serve a new full term to expire on December 31, 2016. <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and <br /> intent of Communication No. 509, and recommends confirmation of Mr. Hanato to the Veterans <br /> Advisory Committee.
