1.3.6.3 New construction, repairs, renovations, alterations, or any change in <br />occupancy shall conform with this code, the Hawaii State Fire Code, and the <br />Building code. <br />Section 26 -4. Investigations are authorized by and shall be made in <br />accordance with section 132 -4, 132 -4.5, 132 -5, HRS. <br />Section 26 -5. Plans and specifications. <br />1.7.11 is amended to read: <br />1.7.11 Plans and specification. <br />The Fire Chief shall have the authority to require plans and specifications to be <br />submitted prior to the construction, demolition, or alteration of any building or <br />structure; prior to any change in a building's occupancy type or class; or prior to <br />the installation of any life safety or fire protection systems to ensure compliance <br />with applicable codes and standards. <br />Section 26 -6. Standby Fire Personnel. <br />1.7.15 is amended to read: <br />1.7.15 Standby and Fire Watch Personnel. <br />Section 26 -7. Standby and Fire Watch- Cost. <br />1.7.15.2.1 is amended to read: <br />1.7.15.2.1 The cost of standby and fire watch personnel shall be at no cost to the <br />authority having jurisdiction (AHJ). <br />4.
