Ms. Nahm-Mijo is a lifelong resident <br /> of Hawaii. She is currently a professor at Hawai'i Community College, where she has <br /> been employed since 1979. <br /> Ms. Nahm-Mijo is a board member of the Grassroots Community Development Group. <br /> She is a past president of the Family Crisis Shelter, Inc., and a past board member of <br /> the Big Island Dance Council. Ms. Nahm-Mijo states that she is not affiliated with any <br /> political party.
