Angel Pilago, Vice Chair District 8 <br /> SUBJECT: Travel to Ormoc Sister-City, Philippines <br /> This memorandum is being sent to notify you that I will be joining the administration's <br /> delegation to Ormoc City, Philippines March 21 —29, 2012 for a sister city ceremony and <br /> information sharing. This comes at the request of Ormoc City Mayor Eric Codilla, the Hawai`i <br /> County Mayor William Kenoi, and the Congress of Visayan Organization President Jane <br /> Clement. The administration will be covering the cost of my travel expenses. <br /> My wife Nita Pilago will be joining me on this trip, and we will reimburse the county for any <br /> travel costs that will be pre-paid on her behalf by the County of Hawaii. <br /> This trip will also allow me to follow up with relations I established when I travelled as a <br /> representative of former Governor Linda Lingle during the Philippines Hawaii Centennial <br /> Celebration held in 2006. <br /> I request 10 minutes on the Council Agenda to give additional information.
