Alahou Clean & Sober <br /> Clean and Sober Housing Program <br /> Total Budget and Position Count: <br /> Total Program Budget $343,900 Total Program Position Count 2 <br /> Total Agency Budget $343,900 Total Agency Position Count 2 <br /> Program Objectives: <br /> 1) Provide accommodations for up to 60 at-risk individuals in need of a clean, safe and affordable <br /> supported-living and recovery program conducted in a peer-enforced drug- and alcohol-free <br /> environment. Through close coordination with partnering agencies, ensure that occupancy is <br /> maintained at or above 85% on a monthly basis. <br /> 2) Provide on-site AA/Substance Abuse support group meetings a minimum of four times per week <br /> and ensure that each participant attends a minimum of two meetings per week. Transportation <br /> is also provided to two off-site AA meetings each week to assist participants in finding sponsors <br /> from outside the Alahou community. <br /> 3) Provide on-site Relapse Prevention training/discussion group once each week and ensure that <br /> each participant attends a minimum of one session per month. <br /> 4) Conduct one on-site Community Meeting per week for discussion of topics of general interest <br /> and issues of concern. Ensure that each meeting is attended by a minimum of 80% of <br /> participants who are not working, in school, or volunteering. <br /> 5) Form and maintain a Residents' Council made up of volunteer participants which is responsible <br /> for overseeing property and apartment maintenance, monitoring property activities and <br /> providing access to supplies during non-business hours, and responding to emergencies. The <br /> Council is also responsible for monitoring individual participant behaviors, conducting UA and <br /> Breathalyzer testing as necessary, recommending consequences for infractions of house rules, <br /> and establishment of behavior contracts with incoming and relapsing participants. The Council <br /> will consist of a minimum of four members who will contribute a minimum of 40 hours each per <br /> month in performance of Council responsibilities. <br /> NONPROFIT GRANT APPLICATION <br /> FISCAL YEAR 2012-13 <br /> Page 3 of 8 <br />
