O Ka'u Kakou - Agency Name <br /> Ka'u Family Fun Fest- Program Name <br /> Program Description: <br /> The Ka'u Family Fun Fest is an annual event to offer fun, healthy activities while <br /> raising funds for a different cause each year <br /> Total Budget and Position Count <br /> Total Program Budget $25,000 Total Program Position Count $00 <br /> Total Agency Budget $60,000 Total Agency Position Count $00 <br /> Program Objectives: <br /> 1) To have a 1/2 marathon, 10K, and 5K competive races, and to have <br /> various tournaments and activities for the keiki, while raising funds for a <br /> community project. <br /> Program Highlights: (from Fiscal Year 2010-11) <br /> 1) We had our 1st annual Family Fun Fest June 11, 2011. <br /> 2) We help raise $57,000 for the Bay Clinic of Na'alehu constuction project <br /> 3) We had 1/2 marathon, 10K and 5K sactioned races with over 100 <br /> participants <br /> 4) We had three tournaments (baskedtball, hunters obstacle course, <br /> portaguese horseshoe)with over 100 participants. <br /> 5) Provided a rock wall and water slide for the keiki. <br /> 6) Provided entertainment through out the day. <br /> 7) Provided a venue for other groups to raise money providing food for the <br /> day. <br /> NONPROFIT GRANT APPLICATION <br /> FISCAL YEAR 2012-13 <br /> Page 2 of 6 <br />
