On November 16, 2011, Ms. Simsarian was confirmed by the Council to complete one year remaining on a vacant seat of the committee. On that same date, Ms. Kelly Nafie was confirmed to a four year term. Since that time, Ms. Nafie has resigned for personal reasons. Insofar as Ms. Simsarian has demonstrated significant energy toward implementation of the Puna CDP, a sincere interest in fulfilling the roles and responsibilities of committee and a desire to serve beyond her one year term that will end in November 2012, she is an outstanding choice to serve a full four year term.
