COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />BILL NO. 188 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1.2 51 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 6 OF THE HAWAII <br />COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO LOADING ZONES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br />SECTION 1. The purpose of this measure is to address the Hawaii Police Department's <br />request to shorten the times the loading zones are in effect in the subject area to allow the zones to <br />be used as parking outside of the specified time. The designated start and end time of the subject <br />loading zones are based on the needs in the area. <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 6, Section 24-287, Schedule 35. Passenger <br />loading zones, subsection (f), Kona, of the Hawai'i County Code 1983 (2005 edition, as amended), is <br />amended by adding the following, to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: <br />(f) Kona <br />(1) Alii drive, east side, beginning from a point two -hundred twenty-nine feet north <br />of Likana Lane and extending forty-seven feet in the northerly direction, 24 hours <br />daily. <br />() Ka`ahumanu Place, north side, first marked diagonal stall, one hundred twenty- <br />two feet west of Alii Drive, from 6:00 a.m. to 6_:00 p.m. <br />Ka`ahumanu Place, south side, one hundred twenty feet west of Alii Drive and <br />extending fifty six feet in the easterly direction, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:000 p.m. <br />everyday. <br />SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br />underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and <br />underscoring need not be included. <br />
