WHEREAS,the County Council supports improving efficiency and effectiveness of the <br /> appropriation of funds to nonprofit organizations to better serve the County of Hawai`i; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> Office of the Legislative Auditor is requested to provide on an annual basis a report analyzing <br /> the efficacy of each nonprofit program by comparing the actual achievements of the program <br /> against the performance objectives stated in their respective applications for County funds. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the report shall be submitted to the Chair of the ad- <br /> hoc committee established to review and make recommendations on grant awards to qualifying <br /> nonprofit agencies upon the formation of said ad hoc committee, and further that a copy of the <br /> report shall be kept on file for public inspection at the Office of the County Clerk. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council requests the first report be provided <br /> for those nonprofit organizations that received grant awards for the Fiscal Year 2012-2013. <br /> BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward copies of this <br /> resolution to the Honorable Mayor William P.
