No. 768/Bill No. 275, reports as <br /> follows: <br /> Bill No. 275, transmitted by Mayor William P. Kenoi, via Communication No. 768, dated <br /> June 20, 2012, is an ordinance amending Section 25-8-33 (City of Hilo Zone Map), Article 8, <br /> Chapter 25 (Zoning Code) of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition), by changing the <br /> District Classification from Single-Family Residential— 10,000 square feet(RS-10) to General <br /> Commercial—20,000 square feet (CG-20) at Waiakea, South Hilo, Hawai`i, covered by Tax <br /> Map Key: 2-2-024:005. Also enclosed was a favorable recommendation from the Windward <br /> Planning Commission Chair Zendo Kern. <br /> Land Use Planner Jeffery Melrose and the President of the Hawai`i Island Board of Realtors, <br /> Mealoha Kraus, were present in Hilo to represent the applicant, Hawai`i Island Board of <br /> Realtors. <br /> Committee Member Onishi verified the location of the property and asked if there was sufficient <br /> parking being planned. Ms. Kraus replied that the number of parking stalls required by the <br /> County Code have already been plotted and additional parking in a gravel area at the back of the <br /> property was also being planned. <br /> Committee Member Onishi stated he supported this application and asked for the Committee's <br /> support. <br /> PC Rept.
