Dear President Rapozo: Cpl' SUBJECT: SECOND PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR (FY) 2012 ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET I have attached proposed amendments to the FY 2012 Annual Operating Budget as follows: REVENUES (1) An increase of$8,529 in the line item "Conference Income", which is also reflected in the "Total Revenues" and"Total Revenues and Fund Balance". EXPENSES (1) An increase of$1,200 to the line item "Executive Committee Miscellaneous"; and (2) An increase of $7,329 to the line item "Adjustments for Travel and Related Expens , -._ Nfaui County hosted the,i011 HSAC Conference and raised approximately $18,529 in revenues. This amount is $8,5 ,more than the amount projected in the FY 2012 Annual Operating Budget. Therefore, I have proposed to increase the expected conference income from $14,000 to$18,529. At its meeting of February 10, 2012, the HSAC Executive Committee approved re ' bursement for Councilmembgi l estor Garcia and one staff person to travel to Hawaii Conty and Kauai County tom ?presentations to those Councils on a proposal to hire an HSAG Executive Director. The/approved travel and ground transportation expenses totaled approximately $1,200. Therefore, I have proposed to increase the "Executive Committee Miscellaneous"expenses f h '$6,100 to $7,300.
