The Executive Committee at its September 9, 2011 meeting, approved to <br /> support, by means of a $5,000.00 sponsorship, the Counties of Hawai`i <br /> Sister-Cities Summit 2011 <br /> K. The Executive Committee at its October 28, 2011 special meeting, <br /> approved the following bills to be included in the 2012 HSAC Legislative <br /> Package: <br /> i. PROPOSED BILL FOR AN ACT RELATING TO FOOD <br /> LABELING; <br /> ii. PROPOSED BILL FOR AN ACT RELATING TO TRAFFIC <br /> INFRACTIONS; <br /> hi. PROPOSED BILL FOR AN ACT RELATING TO HOUSING; <br /> iv. PROPOSED BILL FOR AN ACT RELATING TO <br /> AGRICULTURAL PRODUCT BRANDING AND COUNTRY OR <br /> REGION OF ORIGIN LABELING; <br /> v. PROPOSED BILL FOR AN ACT RELATING TO GALLONAGE <br /> TAX ON LIQUOR. <br /> L. The Executive Committee at its October 28, 2011 special meeting, <br /> approved the following resolutions to be considered by the State House <br /> and Senate during the 2012 Legislative Session: <br /> i. Resolution requesting the State Legislature to adopt House Bill <br /> 1521 (HB 1521) relating to an amendment to Chapter 339D, <br /> Hawai`i Revised Statutes, regarding electronic waste recycling; <br /> ii. Resolution requesting that the Hawaii State Department of <br /> Health amend Hawaii Administrative Rules, Title 11, Chapter <br /> 62, §11-62-06, General Requirements, to establish up to a ten-year <br /> exemption period to connect to a public or private sewer system <br /> after installation of an individual wastewater system. <br /> M. The Executive Committee at its November 3, 2011 meeting, approved the <br /> following amendments to the Fiscal Year 2012 HSAC Annual Operating <br /> Budget: <br /> i. An increase of $5,000.00 in the line item entitled "Executive <br /> Committee Miscellaneous" to recognize the donation to the Pacific <br /> Gateway Center in support of the 2011 Counties of Hawaii Sister- <br /> Cities Summit; <br /> ii. A corresponding reduction of $5,000.00 in the line item entitled <br /> "Adjustments for Travel and Related Expenses" to ensure that the <br /> expenses are equal to projected revenues. <br /> N. The Executive Committee at its November 3, 2011 meeting, approved the <br /> following bills to be included in the 2012 HSAC Legislative Package: <br />
