It's an attack on our democracy. In a
system where one person, one vote is supposed to be the rule, huge
corporations are having an outsized influence
I support the Reverse Citizens United Amendment to reverse the effects
of the anti-democratic Citizens United decision. Elections must be
determined by voters - not deep-pocketed corporations
I am in favor of Hawai'i County Council Resolution 263-12, which urges
the United States Congress to pass and send to the states for the
ratification of a constitutional amendment to reverse Citizens United v.
Federal Elections Commission (2010) and to clarify that corporations are
not entitled to the constitutional protections or "rights" of natural
persons.
Mahalo nui loa,
Ana Kahoopii
PO Box 2714
Kamuela,
HI 96743
808 887 2022
Comm. 3
Ref.To: r Gt
Ref.
