COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />BILL NO. 304 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 6, SECTION 24-288 <br />OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO <br />FREIGHT LOADING ZONES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br />SECTION 1. The purpose of this measure is to allow for enough space to relocate an <br />existing ADA parking stall away from the driveway of parcel 2-3-009:005. The intent is to relocate <br />the stall without losing any parking in this heavily used area of Ponahawai Street. <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 6, Section 24-288, Schedule 36. Freight <br />loading zones, subsection (c), South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as <br />amended), is amended to read as follows: <br />(c) South Hilo <br />(1) Banyan Drive, beginning at a point one hundred eighty-two feet west of <br />the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel entry driveway and extending forty-four feet in <br />the westerly direction. <br />(2) Furneaux Lane, makai of Keawe Street, Puna side, twenty-five feet. <br />(3) Hanama Place, at its terminus. The fifty-five foot section on the makai <br />side fronting the Kailua Trade Center. <br />(4) Hualalai Street, Puna side, directly in front of the St. Joseph School Cafeteria. <br />(5) Kalakaua Street, Puna side, from a point two hundred sixty-two feet mauka <br />of the Kamehameha Avenue parking lot and extending twenty feet in the <br />mauka direction. <br />(6) Kamehameha Avenue, mauka side, from a point one hundred fifty feet Puna <br />of Waianuenue Avenue and extending thirty feet in the Puna direction. <br />(7) Keawe Street, makai side, Puna of Haili Street, twenty-five feet. <br />(8) Keawe Street, makai side, Pu`u`eo of Mamo Street, twenty-five feet. <br />(9) Keawe Street, mauka side, beginning at a point fifty-six feet Puna of <br />Kalakaua Street and extending in the Puna direction for a distance of <br />twenty-three feet. <br />(10) Kilauea Avenue, mauka side, beginning at a point fifty feet southeast of <br />Barenaba Street and extending thirty feet in the southeasterly direction. <br />
