GRC -29 <br />Comm. 787: <br />(Res. 280 -12) <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Page 2 September 18, 2012 <br />URGES THE HAWAII STATE LEGISLATURE TO ADEQUATELY FUND BOTH THE <br />HAWAII CAMPAIGN SPENDING COMMISSION AND A STATEWIDE <br />COMPREHENSIVE PUBLIC FUNDING SYSTEM FOR ELECTIONS <br />States that the State Legislature take immediate action to adequately fund the Hawai`i Campaign <br />Spending Commission and a statewide comprehensive program upon convening the 2013 <br />legislative session, and that the Council of the County of Hawai`i supports legislative efforts to <br />expand comprehensive public funding throughout the state. <br />Intr. by: Ms. Smart <br />Postponed: July 31, 2012 <br />Postponed: September 5, 2012 <br />(Note: There is a pending motion by Ms. Smart and duly seconded by Mr. Yagong to <br />approve Resolution 280 -12.) <br />The meeting places are accessible for persons with disabilities.
