Gonzalez <br />Deputy Director <br />SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT: <br />SECTION 24 -288 — REVISED FREIGHT LOADING — PONAHAWAI ST <br />We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10 (Schedules), Division 6 <br />(Loading Zones), Section 24 -288, Schedule 36 (Freight Loading Zones), subsection (c) <br />South Hilo be amended by revising existing item: <br />(19) Ponahawai Street, Puueo NORTHWEST side, a FROM A POINT <br />NINETEEN FEET SOUTHWEST of Punahoa Street, thirty five fcet AND <br />EXTENDING THIRTY TWO FEET IN THE SOUTHWESTERLY DIRECTION. <br />This amendment is necessary to allow for enough space to relocate an existing ADA <br />parking stall away from the driveway of parcel 2 -3- 09:05. The intent is to relocate the <br />stall without losing any parking in this heavily used area of Ponahawai Street. <br />A location map is attached for your reference. <br />Mc. <br />Warren H.W.
