These hearings will address the public's <br /> concerns and guide the PLDC's mission, goals, and parameters with regard to our <br /> environment,historic preservation, and land use. <br /> The PLDC can help our communities. We humbly ask that Hawaii County Resolution <br /> 303-12 be POSTPONED until after the PLDC's public hearings on the Strategic Plan and <br /> draft Administrative Rules. This will provide the Hawaii County Council and the public <br /> with critical information before making judgments and decision about the PLDC. <br /> The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 1186 represents <br /> over 3,400 Hawaii members working in electrical construction and telecommunications. <br /> Our members include civil service employees at Pearl Harbor, Kaneohe, Hickam, and at <br /> every military installation in Hawaii. IBEW Local 1186 also represents over 110 <br /> signatory electrical contracting companies that perform most of the electrical work in the <br /> state.
