We further support working with the PLDC and believe that <br /> positive economic impact for the people and State of Hawaii can result from public initiated projects. <br /> The PLDC is now completing a public comment process in which it is addressing questions and <br /> misconceptions expressed at community meetings held statewide. We believe this process should be <br /> given a chance to be completed as it was designed. Anything less would impede a process designed <br /> to ensure that every voice is heard—not just the most vocal among us. <br /> The PLDC's next Board Meeting on October 11, 2012. The agenda will include requests to approve <br /> (1)the PLDC Strategic Plan and(2)draft PLDC Administrative Rules that better communicate its <br /> mission,goals and parameters with regard to environmental, historic preservation and land use. <br /> Approval of the draft rules will allow the rules to go forward to public hearings. As these <br /> agenda items will be heard in October,we ask that Resolution 303-12 be POSTPONED.
