Department of Public Works is currently working on the design and schedule of work for the construction of the Mamalahoa Bypass Road ("Bypass") (south segment). Dedication will provide the necessary rights-of-ways for the south segment of the Bypass. The Department of Public Works is requesting that this dedication be waived through committee and placed on the full Council agenda at the earliest possible time. For your information, the deed has been reviewed by the Department of Public Works, Department of Water Supply, Planning Department, and Department of Environmental Environment. Also enclosed are copies of approval letters from the various departments concerned. Upon acceptance of the above limited warranty deed, please send notification of such acceptance to: (1) the Honorable William P. Kenoi, Mayor of the County of Hawai`i; (2)the Department of Public Works; (3) Senior Deputy Corporation Counsel Joseph K.
