The amendment is as follows: <br /> From: <br /> 010.3308.06 Federal Grants - SAFE Standby Pay General $ 12,061 <br /> To: <br /> 010.201.5216.26 SAFE Standby Pay General $ 12,061 <br /> The State Department of the Attorney General Crime Prevention and Justice Administration Division is <br /> providing additional funds to the Hawai`i County Police Department's Sexual Assault Forensic (SAFE) <br /> Standby Pay program. These funds will be used to improve Hawai`i County's response to violent sex <br /> crimes against women through medical and forensic services for victims of sexual assault. <br /> Pursuant to Section 46-7, Hawai`i Revised Statutes, County departments must obtain the consent of the <br /> Council to enter into agreements with the Federal or State governments respecting action to be taken <br /> pursuant to any powers granted by law to furnish, expend, and receive any funds or other assistance <br /> connection with projects being or to be undertaken pursuant to those powers. <br /> There was no discussion on this measure. <br /> FC Report No. 10 <br />
