The participating counties reported success in <br /> adding valuable contacts to email distribution lists, promoting the variety and quality of Hawaii <br /> floriculture through "NeoTropica Trends" design classes and exhibits, and generating on-site <br /> sales of approximately$275,000. <br /> With the intent of capitalizing on the interest created by our participation in the 2012 show, the <br /> Hawaii Department of Agriculture (HDOA) is offering to support the counties that would like to <br /> participate in the 2013 PIFS that will be held on March 2— 10, 2013, at the Pennsylvania <br /> Convention Center. The theme for 2013 is "Brilliant"—featuring the culture and horticulture of <br /> the United Kingdom (UK), which presents an opportunity to showcase the ties between Hawaii <br /> and the UK. <br /> The HDOA is offering funds up to $30,000 per county, upon approval of a proposal submitted to <br /> the Department by 4:30 pm on December 31, 2012. Proposals submitted via email by the <br /> deadline will be accepted.
