REPORT OF THE <br /> COMMITTEE ON PLANNING <br /> DATE: January 8, 2013 Re: Communication No. 41 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 1:01 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication No. 41, reports as follows: <br /> Communication No. 41, from Mayor William P. Kenoi, dated December 18, 2012, nominates <br /> Mr. Jon Adams to the North Kohala Community Development Plan Action Committee. <br /> Mr. Adams is a 33-year resident of North Kohala and the owner of Mothers Antiques and Fine <br /> Cigars store in North Kohala, which has been in operation for 33 years. He has a strong <br /> background in business, real estate, community planning, developing affordable housing and <br /> installing alternative energy products for properties that he has owned. Mr. Adams has been a <br /> member of the Lions Club for 19 years and has also been an active community member with <br /> other organizations such as the North Kohala Merchants Association.
