�'• �v n ��ilir, COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII BILL NO. 171 ORDINANCE NO. 13 2 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, SECTION 24-284 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO PARKING. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`L• SECTION 1. The purpose of this measure was generated by a request to create short- term parking in the area by converting a portion of the existing eight hour parking to two hour parking. SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, Section 24-284, Schedule 32. Two hour parking areas, subsection (c), South Hilo, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), is amended by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: ( ) Ponahawai Street, southeast side, from a point one hundred seventy-six feet northeast of Kilauea Avenue and extending one hundred two feet in the northeasterly direction. SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance,the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and underscoring need not be included. SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
