4 �tYOSN,�p'.. <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> BILL NO. 177 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1-3 3 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, SECTION 24-284.1 <br /> OF THE HAWAI`I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO <br /> PARKING. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I: <br /> SECTION 1. The purpose of this measure was generated by a request to create short- <br /> term parking in the area by converting a portion of the existing eight hour parking to two hour <br /> parking. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, Section 24-284.1, Schedule 32.1. 8 <br /> hour parking areas, subsection (c), South Hilo, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as <br /> amended), is amended by revising existing item: <br /> (9) Ponahawai Street, Puna southeast side, from a point three hundred five feet northeast of <br /> Kilauea Avenue and extending two hundred seventy feet in the northeasterly direction <br /> Kamehameha Avenue to Kilau a Avenue. <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is underscored. In <br /> printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and underscoring need not be <br /> included. <br /> SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br /> to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br /> applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, <br /> and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />
