WHEREAS, the University of Chicago, located in the state of Illinois, is also competing <br /> for the library; now,therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that it <br /> strongly urges the Governor and all State of Hawai`i Legislators to encourage President Obama <br /> to select Hawai`i as the site for his presidential library. <br /> BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward copies of this <br /> resolution to the Honorable President Barack H. Obama, the Honorable United States Senator <br /> Mazie K.
