The proposed <br /> amendments are illustrated below in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution <br /> No. 51-13, and bolded for illustrative purposes. <br /> 1. The title is amended to read as follows: <br /> "A RESOLUTION URGING THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF <br /> COUNTIES TO SUPPORT [CONTINUED] INCREASED FEDERAL <br /> FUNDING FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br /> PROGRAM." <br /> 2. The eighth "WHEREAS" clause is amended to read as follows: <br /> "WHEREAS, the NACo Legislative Conference will consider a resolution supporting <br /> [ ] a funding increase from $2.9 billion to $3.3 billion per year for <br /> the CDBG program; and" <br /> 3. The enacting clause is amended to read as follows: <br /> "BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> that the National Association of Counties is urged to approve a resolution <br /> supporting [continued] increased federal funding for the community <br /> development block grant program." <br /> Comm.
