WHEREAS,the Governor's proposed capital improvements budget provides for an appropriation for fiscal year 2013-2014 of$5,000,000 for the design of a College of Pharmacy building and $33,000,000 for the first phase of construction, and an appropriation for fiscal year 2014-2015 of$3,000,000 for equipment; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the Hawaii State Legislature is urged to appropriate funds for construction of the University of Hawaii at Hilo College of Pharmacy building. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Governor of the State of Hawaii is urged to release funds for construction of the University of Hawaii at Hilo College of Pharmacy building. BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this resolution to the Honorable Governor Neil Abercrombie, the Honorable Senate President Donna Mercado Kim,the Honorable Speaker of the House of Representatives Joe Souki, the Honorable Senator Brian T.
