Kenoi, dated January 25, 2013 transmits the <br /> nomination of Ms. Maile B. Melrose to the Hawaii County Cultural Resources Commission. <br /> Ms. Melrose is a lifelong resident of Hawai`i. She has worked for the last 10 years as a <br /> volunteer, historian, tour guide, and performer for the Kona Historical Society. Ms. Melrose <br /> states that she is not affiliated with any political party. She will serve a 3-year term, and is not <br /> required to appear before the Council for final confirmation. <br /> Your Committee on Planning is in accordance with the purpose and intent of Communication <br /> No. 121, and recommends confirmation of the appointment of Ms. Maile B.
