COUNTY OF HAWAII ci STATE OF HAWAII <br /> BILL NO. 52 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 1, SECTION 24-255 <br /> OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO <br /> SPEED LIMITS. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. The purpose of this amendment is to revise the speed limits along Ali`i <br /> Drive to be more appropriate to the current conditions of the roadway. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1. Section 24-255, Schedule 3. 25 mile <br /> per hour limit, subsection (f), Kona, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), <br /> is amended by revising existing item as follows: <br /> (1) Ali`i Drive, from [. ..•- !. ! -- - .. - s • - -.• .• . -- Mamalahoa <br /> Bypass Highway to its southern terminus. <br /> SECTION 3. The purpose of this amendment is to revise the speed limits along <br /> Mamalahoa Bypass Highway in accordance with the Mamalahoa Highway Bypass Road project <br /> and to be more appropriate to the current conditions of the roadway. <br /> SECTION 4. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1, Section 24-255, Schedule 3. 25 mile per <br /> hour limit, subsection (f), Kona, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), is <br /> amended by deleting existing items: <br /> [(8) Mamalahoa Bypass Highway, from a point 2.67 mi .• - . -- a '' <br /> intersection to the Haleki`i. Street intersection. <br /> {9) Mamalahoa Bypass Highway, from the Ali`i Drive intersection to a point <br />
