Ford, via Communication No. 130 dated <br /> January 31, 2013, amends Ordinance No. 12-87, as amended, relating to public improvements and <br /> financing thereof for the fiscal year July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013. The amendment is as follows: <br /> PARKS AND RECREATION <br /> Kahuku Park Improvements, Phase 4, Senior Center, <br /> Gymnasium, and Emergency Shelter <br /> (110.599.5598.84) $ 5,100,000 <br /> Funds for this appropriation increase shall be provided from: <br /> General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund-Fund Balance <br /> and/or Other Sources $ 5,100,000 <br /> The proposed bill adds the Kahuku Park Improvements, Phase 4, Senior Center, Gymnasium, and <br /> Emergency Shelter project for $5,100,000 to the Capital Budget. <br /> A proposed amendment was transmitted via Communication No. 130.1 by Council Member <br /> Brenda J. Ford, dated March 8, 2013. The amendment changes the title of the project from "Kahuku <br /> Park Improvements, Phase 4, Senior Center, Gymnasium and Emergency Shelter"to "Kahuku Park <br /> Improvements, Phase 4, Community Center, Gymnasium and Emergency Shelter." The amendment was <br /> approved unanimously. <br /> Ms. Ford urged the Council Members to submit their district's "shovel ready projects" as soon as <br /> possible to Managing Director Wally Lau to ensure their projects be added to the list of projects. The <br /> Air National Guard (ANG) application deadline is May 31, 2013 in order to receive future 2015 ANG <br /> assistance. <br /> FC Report No. 40 <br />
