The BIIF athletic directors from high <br /> schools and elementary school teachers around the island of Hawai`i have asked the Department of <br /> Liquor Control to continue the DAT (Drug, Alcohol, Tobacco) Awareness Program. In this <br /> program, student-athletes learn DAT awareness and prevention, and in turn, teach what they have <br /> learned to 4th and 5th graders in their respective feeder schools. <br /> Additionally, the 2013 National Conference of State Liquor Administrators will be held in <br /> Honolulu in June 2013.
