REQUEST: <br /> Please prepare a resolution authorizing the payment of funds - in a later fiscal year and for more than <br /> one fiscal year- for a two year lease extension for the Naalehu EMS Station for the Fire Department. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> To comply with the State of Hawaii contract to provide EMS services an extention of the Naalehu EMS <br /> Station lease is necessary. This is for premises located at 95-1163 Ka'alaiki Road, Naalehu. The term is for <br /> two years commencing May 1, 2013, with an option to renew the lease for an additional two years. The lease <br /> rent is $1,402.73 per month. This is reimburseable by the State of Hawai'i as part of the EMS contract. <br /> The current lease expires at the end of April.
